Before I start this blog I want to say YES! I know there are much better looking pizza cutters/slicer out there, but what you see in this top 10 are all real! (many under the £20 mark) No one-offs, no concept designs just ones that you and me can buy right now any-time we like. (or have saved the money for)
The World’s Top 10 Best Pizza Cutters
10 – Not so much Pizza Cutters more Pizza Clippers! (£10.99)–(source)The image above caused a right uproar when it first went viral back in 2002. The problem is people thought it was amazing and brought loads of them from a website that will forever be unnamed because what you see in the image was in fact just a blatant rip-off of the product in the link! And the worst part was the copy cost nearly 5x more than the original one did!
9 – Worth forking out for?!? (£3.68)–(source)
When I eat Pizza I revert back to a caveman. Just me, my hands and my pizza. I grab it eat it and then bang my chest to show appreciation to the pizza guy. But If you are a little bit posh you might want to avoid any hand to mouth contact and use this rather posh Pizza fork! It doesn’t cost the earth so you can get some serviettes to go with it !
8 – How much Pizza would a Pizzachuck chuck, If a…etc,etc (£4.98)–(source)
ARE YOU A MAN OR A MOUSE!? Put down that knife and step away from that puny looking pizza cutter because us real men cut their pizza with a chainsaw pizza cutter!
7 – “To boldly go where no stuffed crust has gone before” (£18.74)–(source)
I will let you into a little tiny secret…I’m a nerd! I love all things Starwars, Star trek, fringe you name it! If it has so much as been inspired by something nerdy then I love it! And it will come to no surprise to tell you, I think this is EPIC!!!
6 – Pizzrophenia! (£9.99)–(source)
Would you consider yourself a bit of a mod? Then why not combine two of Italy’s best exports Pizza and Vespas in one great gadget! Not only does it look cool but it also stands on its own with the built-in kickstand!
5 – A deep pan base?!? Things just got serious! (£10.44)–(source)
Have you slightly over cooked the pizza and the base has gone a little harder than you normally like? Then it might well be time to crack out this bad boy! And if ever there was a pizza cutter for the DIY nerd/Tim Allen type then this is it.
4 – Jaws: The Anchovies Revenge (£9.20)–(source)
A little bit more manliness needed here because you need to go all Roy Scheider style on this one and grab onto the Pizza Shark and roll it across your favourite pizza! OK it is not all that dangerous but could be worth a laugh at party’s!
3 – Pi for the Pie! (£60.33)–(source)
Here is one that many people don’t know: In America a piece of pizza is called a slice (as it is everywhere else) and a whole pizza is a ‘pizza pie’ Why am I telling you this? Because if you don’t know that you don’t get the “Pi” joke in the item above!
2 – Say “Hello!” to Mr Kitch! (£3.69)–(source)
Since when is pizza cutting time play time?!? I have to admit that this did indeed bring a smile to my face. But then I started to wonder if kids would be attracted to it! Sure it has a great look about it and would brighten up any kitchen surface but would it be a magnet to the little ones? Well for just £3.69 I am willing to find out!
1 - Edward Woodward would be happy to help. (£79.47)–(source)
This ladies and gruff men is the master of all pizza cutters. This is “The Equalizer” (Please tell me someone gets the opening line now!) and it is a multi-blade Rocking Knife.
Sure it is about 10 times more expensive than the others in this list, but if you want the best you have to pay that little bit more. Just place this destroyer of pizza on top of it and BOOM! Job done. (may require several minuets of rocking motion as the “rocking knife” part of the title suggest.
