10 – Stacking Dolls: Assemble (£129.34)–(source)It was one of the biggest films of 2012 and one of my favourites, so it should come as no surprise to find these amazing ‘Avengers Assemble’ dolls in this top 10. But it has to be said they are amazing for sure (if a little expensive).
9 – Matryoshka dolls fresh from the planet Skaro (£38.80)–(source)
For all of us Doctor Who fans out there I bring you these rather impressive Dalek Russian nesting dolls that would bring a smile to any nerds face and for just under £40 as well!
8 – We all live in a stack of Russian dolls?!? (£36.53)–(source)
There is not many submarines that only have a crew of just four people but this is one of them. It is of course the World famous “Yellow Submarine” piloted by the four Beatles.
7 – Stacking Chewbaccas (£10.77)–(source)
A Wookiees natural habitat was the dense forests of the planet Kashyyyk. So it would make sense that they would be right at home in the forest of Russia and then turned into inspired nesting dolls. …what do you mean that makes no sense at all?!? It did to me!
6 – Nesting Pigs?!? (£11.16)–(source)
One of the more unusual ones you will ever see is this amazing pig stacker. Sure it is not really nerd inspired, but I would consider myself a nerd, it’s my top 10, so there in!
5 – To be a true Ninja you need to look inside yourself. (£9.45)–(source)
I have always wanted to be a Ninja, or was it a Power Ranger?!? Whatever it was I needed some truly epic martial arts skills to do it and sadly I don’t have them. But for less than £10 I could own these and learn the art of looking inside to find the ninja outside.
4 – The cat in the cat?!? (£44.13)–(source)
Don’t worry it is not Caturday already, but being a cat loving nerd I did find this truly amazing and a perfect gift for any loving cat owner, or maybe just a fan of Caturday!
3 – Heroes in half, quarter, 1/8 shell?!? (£28.37)–(source)
For those too young to remember these they are The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and as a child growing up they were my heroes and with a brand new film due out this year they will be back on top of the toy charts and these will sell like hot cakes (or dolls).
2 – The Un-dead dolls (£28.99)–(source)
Not only do I like most Zombie related items, but I also a good laugh and this ticked both boxes and it is not too expensive. So for all us Zombie fans out there this might well rank right up there are the best Russian dolls you have ever seen!
1 – Stacking Stormtroopers! (£10.77)–(source)
I would have been a crime not to make this number 1, because not only do they look simply amazing, but they are also cheap as chips! Normally nerd inspired merchandise costs the earth but this is highly affordable and that in my opinion makes this truly epic.
