Cats love being inside things, boxes, tubes, in fact anything that makes them feel secure from attack on a few sides is OK by them. But one thing I am seeing more and more from other peoples Caturday posts is that cats love to sleep inside sinks! This strange behaviour seems to be limited to cats at the moment but I am sure a few dogs have tried to pull it off, but no dog would ever make being in a sink look this good….

For this Caturday post I started with a single image of a cat with what looks like a pattern of a cat on it’s back! Could I really find 9 more just like it?!? Well it seems it was something that people are calling “Cat Painting” and if that sounds weird it is because it IS weird. I have no idea if they are real or not, but some of them look rather amazing indeed…

WIKI INFO: So why paint cats? Well it seems it all started with a book called “Why Paint Cats” and it was a comedy book written by New Zealand author Burton Silver and illustrator Heather Busch. But it has been met with some controversy since its release from those who considered the concept of the book to be unethical and encourages animal cruelty. Defenders of the book have opined that the text was a spoof and that the cats may not have been painted at all but instead edited with a photo editing program.

When I was knee-high to a grasshopper I had a sleepover at a friend’s house (not that we got much sleep, we stayed up all night playing street fighter!) just before we had (at the very least) pretend to go to sleep his mum asked me if I had brought my “snooze suit” I didn’t know what she was on about until she called them pajamas. I had to inform her (much to the look of horror on her face) that I had never worn them and didn’t even own a set of them! (I still don’t even today) but I have started to think I am alone on this, because it seems even cats wear them! So lets start our Caturday journey…
