The World’s Top 10 Best Images of Cats in Sinks
Cats love being inside things, boxes, tubes, in fact anything that makes them feel secure from attack on a few sides is OK by them. But one thing I am seeing more and more from other peoples Caturday posts is that cats love to sleep inside sinks! This strange behaviour seems to be limited to cats at the moment but I am sure a few dogs have tried to pull it off, but no dog would ever make being in a sink look this good….
The World’s Top 10 Best Images of Cats in Sinks
10 – Taken from my post “Top 10 Camouflage Cats” it is still a classic image.
9 – “Do you mind closing the door!?! Me and the doll here are having hot tub time!”
8 – Little hand basins make the best beds!
7 – “If it looks like a toilet, and it is in the toilet room then I will go to toilet inside it!!!”
6 – What do you mean when you say “This explains why my breath smells of cat food!”
5 – Have you heard of The cat in the Hat? Well I am the Leopard in your sinks.
4 – “Hi! And welcome to MTV sinks.”
3 – “Come on you lot cough up the money, I told you 5 cats in 1 sink was imposable!”
2 – If you are going to stick with the square sinks, I will be a square cat!
1 – ”When they go to do the washing up, it is ‘THEN’ when I will attack!”
The World’s Top 10 Most Amazing Tents
Today is Sunday which means it is guest post day! Today’s post is from ‘distinctivedoors.co.uk’ and you will notice that a lot of thought has gone into it. So I hope you enjoy it and show it as much love as you do my own top 10′s. But if you think you can do better or interested in doing the same please drop me an E-Mail: turtle4578588@gmail.com But until then here is today’s….
Whether you’re a happy camper, a dedicated festival nut, or just the sort of person who likes to prepare for any eventuality, choosing the right tent can be a long, bewildering process. So we’ve decided to do it for you: below you’ll find our list of the 10 most amazing tents under the sun. From the safest, to the strangest and the most-inventive, we’ve got everything to keep even the most-alternative camper fully satisfied…
The World’s Top 10 Most Amazing Tents
10 – Tentsile Stingray Tent
Designed to be suspended above the ground from the branches of trees, giving the impression of levitation, the Tentsile Stingray is bizarre, impressive and bizarrely-useful. Ideal for those planning to camp in bear-country, the tent also looks aesthetically wonderful to boot.
9 – Orange Solar Tent
It sounds like a prop from a Monsieur Hulot film, but in 2009 Orange made their solar-powered tent a reality. With a wireless control hub, internal heating and a strange mechanism that makes the tent glow orange by simply sending a text (in case you should ever misplace it), the Orange Solar tent wins both our ‘greenest’ and ‘most unusual’ awards.
8 – Gelert Quickpitch
Are you exceptionally lazy? Is erecting a tent the absolute last thing you want to be bothered with while camping? Then the Gelert Quickpitch is for you: simply chuck it on the floor and it self-inflates in seconds, allowing you to sit back and relax while your friends struggle to get their regular tent up. Winner of our: ‘best option for lazy people’ award.
7 – I-gloobox
Somewhere between an igloo and a puffy football, the i-gloobox is an easily-constructed super-tent designed to keep you warm in even the harshest of winters. Perfect for those considering an Arctic trek or expecting to be caught short in frozen conditions; this offering is perfect for hardy adventurers and Inuit alike.
6 – Atago 5-man Tent
For those who want to take a house on holiday, the Atago 5-man tent is easily the best option. Bigger and more-exclusive than even the vast Colonial tents of Victorian generals, the Atago 5-man could easily fit 5 men and all their friends and relations if it had to. With two separate ‘bunkrooms’, a living-area and a spacious porch, this is for those who like their home comforts even in the depths of the forest.
5 – The Wedge
Heading somewhere windy? The Wedge is a specially-streamlined tent designed to divert anything from a light breeze to howling hurricane and improve your mountaintop survival chances to boot. Possibly the safest tent to use at altitude, it’s also superbly easy to assemble and frighteningly durable in most conditions.
4 – Fully Booked by FieldCandy
A tent shaped like a book? Oh yes, if your primary camping aim is to proudly display your oddness to the world at large, look no further. Available in a veritable library of designs, Fully Booked is destined to be this year’s novelty tent of choice – which may well defeat the point of owning a novelty tent, but doesn’t detract from its basic awesomeness.
3 – Bubble Lodge
Not one for those who like throwing stones, the Bubble Tree tent is a completely transparent, well, bubble designed to house two people in the great outdoors. Wonderful if you want to enjoy a 360 degree, unimpeded view of the surrounding countryside; less so if you want to get undressed or shake the feeling that you’re in a giant alien zoo, the Bubble Tree nonetheless stands out as the most-iconic of all our options.
2 – Endemic Synthetic by Strawn.Sierralta
Made from recycled PVC pipes and designed to keep the cool air flowing even in the heart of the Mojave Desert, this concept-offering loses points for practicality, but gains them for thinking outside the box. Displayed only once, in 2004 and then shelved indefinitely, it nonetheless remains a fine example of the sheer imagination designers can put into tents.
1 – Retreat 60
Finally, a sturdy all-rounder to end on; the Retreat 60 is compact, cheap, comfortable and capable of housing up to three people with little hassle. While it may lack the extravagancies of some of our other selections, it does the job and does it well: a low-key winner.

The World’s Top 10 Most Amazing Refrigerators
Have you ever wondered why most major kitchen utilities only come in white? Well in this top 10 I am looking more at the fridges and refrigerators of this World. They are often big white things that take up far too much room, look intrusive, but are essential to any kitchen environment. But it seems that they only come in a rather boring range of colours that could never match the décor of the kitchen! Well times are changing as I show you…
The World’s Top 10 Most Amazing Refrigerators
10 – What’s white and stands in the corner? A naughty fridge.
This is a great start because this TARDIS inspired fridge is nothing more than a few stickers away from being yours! And if ever there was something that every nerds kitchen was missing, it has to be this.
9 – What’s white and kills you when it falls out of a tree? A fridge.
With nothing more that a few bits of coloured paper and a pritt Stick this otherwise boring white fridge suddenly becomes a little character all on it’s own in the shape of a snowman!
8 – Why was the man looking in the fridge for hours? Because the Juice said concentrate.
This cool art attacked fridge is inspired by garden peas, entitled ”Peas and Quiet” by Victoria Fuller it is one of the most impressive fridges you will ever see and really would be amazing inside anyone’s kitchen environment.
7 – Why did the boy close his eyes before opening the fridge? Because he didn’t want to see the salad dressing.
As we saw with my post “Top 10 Best Examples of Eyebombing” all you need to bring something to life is a funny pair of googly eyes, and these giant ones are only £6.99 for a set of two, and that is not much when it comes to giving personalty to your fridge.
6 – How do you put an elephant in a refrigerator? Step one: Open the door.Step two: Put the elephant in.Step three: Close the door!
What a great little idea this is, you get an entire pack of mosaic art, magnetic fridge stickers and you make your own art master piece! While I do think this is a very impressive idea indeed, I have zero art skill so wont be getting any.
5 – How do you know when an elephant has been in your fridge? Footprints in the butter.
While this is essentially the same idea as number 9 it just made me laugh out loud the moment I saw it. So once again all it needs is a bit of black paper and a glue stick to transform the fridge into a running one that is sure to make many people smile.
4 – What is white and blue and can’t climb trees? A fridge wearing a denim jacket.
While I have not got a single hope of replicating this amazing design, it is nothing but incredible. This art attacked fridge is part of a campaign called “Fridge-A-Thon” (no longer active) and it purchased old fridges that are damaging to the environment and turns them into amazing pieces of art! A great cause, and an even better design of fridge.
3 – The best way to loose weight is to put a treadmill in front of the fridge!
Yet another Doctor Who inspired fridge, but this time any of us can make one because it is done via some cool fridge stickers! So for just £22.96 you can have your very own Dalek!
2 – Facebook is like a fridge. When you’re bored you keep opening and closing it every few minutes to see if there’s anything good in it.
Without question, this is the nerdiest fridge you will ever see! And if you look closely you will see that it is in fact all done with nothing more than a tie, some paper and a couple of fridge magnets! A simple design for sure, but I laughed hard at this one.
1 – Buy someone a fridge for Christmas and watch their face light up when they open it!
And they don’t get any more classic than this VW camper-van inspired fridge! While this is a one off design, they seriously need to start making these because it not only looks amazing but also seems to match the shape of a camper VW as well!
The World’s Top 10 Things That are Definitely Not Legit.
This blog post all started when I brought a fake phone off E-Bay. It looked the same, the bow was indeed the same but of course it was cheap because it was a cheap knock off. That day I learned the valuable lesson that when something is a lot cheaper than the real thing then it probably isn’t the real thing. So I thought I would help you try and avoid the same mistakes I did as I bring you…
The World’s Top 10 Things That are Definitely Not Legit.
10 – Seems OK, but when did McDonalds start selling curry’s?!?
9 – Well I do like hugs…..but I think I will stick to getting them from my partner.
8 – And to think I had been buying fully grown ones at twice the cost of these all this time!
7 –We all like candy! But if it is free then there might be something wrong with it.
6 – Well it does seem legit, but I don’t have anything appropriate to wear so I will leave it.
5 – Well it doesn’t seem to tick all the selling points, but it is a good price anyway.
4 – My keys do look a little dirty…but I don’t trust automated cleaners without supervision.
3 – Straight to DVD for a very good reason! (yes these really are real DVD’s)
2 – I have always wanted to experience time travel…but something does quite seem right.
1 – This Sea-Horse I got from a bloke in the pub seems legit! …but bigger than I expected.
